Dinosaurs say Rawr!

I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty scatter-brained. Extremely scatter-brained. Sometimes my brain can go from "I need to go to the store" to "I wonder what I'm going to wear for my Halloween costume this year." So, for me wanting to become a teacher, that unfortunate characteristic scares me. How am I going to teach my future students? Well, the answer is Concept Maps! In my IT 365 class, we learned how to effectively make them. We used this really cool software called Kidspiration. This software has super simple commands and features to help teachers and students of all kinds to build these maps. To learn how to use the software, we made one of our own.
Here is mine on Dinosaurs. The main topic has 5 subtopics, with hyperlinks to lead kids to a website to learn more. This concept map best lines up with the ISTE standards using 3.d-Model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support research and learning
Now, I have to tweak this a little more to make it perfect, but I really enjoyed this quick little project, and I hope that I can use Kidspiration in the future to curb my Scatter-Brain!
